Mr.Kazu, which pinion you prefer flying with? The 14 or the 12? It looks as though the glide lock is positioned for optimal dihedral wing angle based on the larger tooth count gear. The 12 gave the wings more of a flat or less dihedral making it more prone to under tucking or inverted roll on account of the articulated wings, thus the superb smooth response of correction on your part.

That brought back memories of my trying different pinions on my old Kinkade park hawk and seeing how it affected my wing flaps and glide lock angles. I like the liveliness of the 12, but the glide of the larger geared one...IMHO.

Because load of flapping is large, restart of flapping after gliding is not possible in 14 T.
A flapping restart is possible in 12 T.
So, I chose 12T Pinion Gear.

This was fast delivery. This 2 K-W-D 1 drives is to make a fast flying ornithopter.
The 4 for the Dragonfly are now 3D printed and will be delivered to you as soon as they are redy.
