I will call buddy. I am getting 50 degrees on the elevator and 48 degrees on the ailerons. The rudder wanted to bang on the elevator so I dialed that back to very close without hitting.
I will back that all off with d/r for the first few flights till the cg feels right. Looking forward to a great ride! Sometimes only having 4 batteries just does not seem like enough!

pg- if you want a baffle kit, PM after your maiden. If you need/want one, I'll send one from another plane I have.

No sweat!

Thanks...I will bring a infrared thermometer with me and check the temperatures after flight. Never had a heat problem in the past. ...never had a 6s 1770 watt badazz extreme flight plane either!

The MXS 64" is the only 60" that comes w/the baffles as far as I know and that's because of the smaller inlet holes in the cowl.
The Edge will be fine.
You should post some pics!

This little package came with my 60" Edge. If those aren't cooling baffles they sure are doing a good job pretending to be!

The Boss is always quietly upgrading everything. I built my Edge around the first of the year and it did not come with those.

Mine came with them, but I did not need to use them.

I'm planning on installing them. I figure I'll put my ESC under the motor box, right in the breeze from the third hole in the cowl, and the motor will stay nice and cool with the baffles. Might not get too hot without them, but it certainly won't with them and I don't see a downside to installing them.

Not at all. Either would work very well.
