January Flying at Dunkerhook

Once again the hardcore flying nuts were out braving the January wind and cold to do a little flying. For a while the temperature went up a few degrees and the wind died down.

I flew today at my home field down here in central Jersey and it wasn't as much fun as I thought it would be. I flew an old GWS Beaver on floats from the snow. The wind was gusty and the snow was deep. The middle of the field has about 18" of snow and up to 3 feet in some spots. Too much work.

I'll try again tomorrow if the wind dies down.
