when you do the hinges make sure you leave enough gap to allow full motion. the gap might even be 2mm because on the control surface side where the hinges go in is (annoyingly) quite flat. then you have to seal the gap. the first time I did mine ailerons were fine but I installed too close the elevator and rudder control surface. After I flew the thing I realised the mistake so I had to take the rudder out and redo the hinges. the elevator once installed it ain't coming out unless you start cutting the fuse.

I'd recommend dubro plastic hinges and epoxy. Much better. I ended up replacing all of the ca hinges with them after many of the ca ones pulled out

Cool videos ckleanth!

Anyone running the Torque 2814T/820 on 3S with APC 13x6.5? I finished the build this morning and the run up seemed a bit anemic...no watt meter test yet.

Crumpled mine this weekend. The thumb screw on the wing backed out. Should have done a better pre flight check. The wing pulled away from the fuse and rotated. Too low and too fast to do anything. Fuse is trashed. Wings are ok- luckily the wing tube snapped. Time to harvest my gear and get another kit.

Sorry to hear that. If its any consolation im also on ADX #2
A few weeks ago I was lucky on my #2, the carbon restraining rod on the wing had fallen in the wing (was transporting them with the flat surface down but they were in the wing bags) so I applied ca everywhere. ..

Ouch! I was just wondering if I should order a second one to build over winter. Would hate not to have one available to have fun with on nice days.
(This weekend was a bit too windy for it so I flew my gassers)
