Four Corners Celebration
From the deserts, to the mountains rising high above and from the lakes to the high valleys... These are the blue skies we fly under, the skies of the West The Four Corner States of Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Arizona Invite you all to a hand launch glider challenge, a celebration! Blue Skies over Colorado
June 23-24 Contest Information and conversation on RC Groups (thread is open) plus you can lurk quietly in local discussions here on RC Groups, in the Colorado DLG Happenings... thread ========================== Blue Skies over New Mexico July 14-15 (plus warm up and practice on Friday) and you can lurk quietly in local discussions here on RC Groups, in the New Mexico DLG Happenings... thread ========================== Blue Skies over Utah August 11-12 (plus warm up and practice on Friday) and you can lurk quietly in local discussions here on RC Groups, in the Utah DLG Happenings... thread PLUS join the Utah Boys and pilots from all over at the Utah Red Rock F3K Challenge, March 31-April 1 ========================== Blue Skies over Arizona November 3-4 (plus warm up and practice on Friday) PLUS join the Arizona pilots and fliers from all over at the Arizona Open, February 25-26 |

State Champion The scores of all participants belonging to each 4 corner state, expressed as a percentage of the top pilot in each contest, are brought together and averaged. Those percentage averages, by contest per state, are added together, and then divided by the number of contests flown to date. Eventually, all four contests count. Again, everybody from a 4 corner state counts. No ringers, you gotta live in the state to count. The state with the highest average performance compared to the top pilots wins! |
