Turnigy 9x up in smoke
I have just got my Ifly4s Quad working the way I wanted. Flew a full flight this morning, perfect.
Late today I used the Transmitter on the Aero Sim-RC flight sim for a half hour all great. Unplugged the USB plug from the computer but left the plug in the back of the transmitter and went to make a meal.
I forgot my glasses and went back to get them a short time later. Only to find my Turnigy 9x smoking.Grabbing the thing I got burnt, then I rang it out to the kitchen and used a knife to lever out the 8 smoking batteries.
This transmitter is only a month or so old and still has the first set of batteries in it. The flight sim is only 2 days old.
I have dismantled the unit and cannot find what has caused this to happen. It has not survived.
Any ideas. Thanks
