Thanks man!!

The thicker arm version is right at 175 grams. This will fit 6 in props. A 5 in only version may save 25 grams or so.

oh yes! i have been looking into the new "mini" buzz of frames! i like the alum, is this $75 cost for the time being or will it remain the same price? asking because i will need to wait a couple weeks, but im definitely interested in this. i was looking at the qav250 as well but i like that aluminum! but wow when not flying i can hang on the wall like art.

Thanks man!

A 5 in has not been cut yet. Prob this weekend. I wanted a little breathing room around the props for 1700-1900 kv motors to spin 6 in apc's.

True 6061 aluminum is being used. On the thin arm version in a crash I feel the arms will bend. The thicker arm version withstood a tremendous amount of weight before the arms bent. Those kind of forces would not be reached in a crash. Unless of course your neighbor runs it over w a car

I have motors comin in from around the world lol!!! I just hope to get this rippin around soon.

Just for giggles I am looking into powder coating for that real sexy look.

Powdered coated will look very nice but will the coat stand the occasional crashes?

Sunnysky just came out with the 2300kv motors for mini frames with 16x19mm bolt hole pattern.

Hope to see a jello free video soon. I'm in the market for a mini frame and that's all is missing to start flying.

What is the size of this frame that holds 6 inch?

Probably wont hold up the way I fly. It was just a thought. The bare alum is quite appealing.

The size is exactly 8 in motor shaft to motor shaft in both directions so its symmetrical. 6 in apc props will just fit

The 16mm 19mm hole spacing should work no prob. The motor holes have a outside measurement of 20.30 mm. That makes it pretty universal for the smaller motors. I will know for sure by next week
