wider and long is better for wing guys

they just laid down new lanes and made them longer and wider at the vacaville air field.

it changes the way i land , before i would almost stall the wing so i didnt over shoot the strip.

there is two landing strips about 15' wide and 50' long nice.

also i went to fly today and i grabed my wings and my radio and the radio wouldn't sync up to both my wings i have the spektrum dx5e radio the battery light was low so i put new batteries in but still wouldn't sync up so i binded it again and it work missed out on flying perfect day.

any ideas on what happen just used it saturday and today nothing.

not sure if will do it will i am flying any words of advise are welcome.
