Blade has just posted the picture above on its Facebook page. They may release it this Thursday.

No wonder the 130x prices dropped recently. I hope it has a belt tail and rotary servos...I'm getting tired of servicing/replacing linears every 150-300 flights.

There is no hint of any tail drive system from that photo. Either the drive system is at the back of the main wheel or it is a direct drive tail. If it is a DD tail, it will put a lot of people off.

I hate waiting for parts

I was going to say the same thing - no wonder there was a price dump on the 130X. The 130X flew great... when it flew, that is. That high-maintenance little thing spent way more time on the bench waiting for parts than it did in the air. And I know I spent at least the price of the heli on upgrades to get it to fly right.

If this is the successor to the 130X, hopefully Blade will have incorporated the lessons learned with the 130X into a heli that is much more durable. Can't wait to hear more.

Why they made 200 SR-x a F/P is amazing. Plus it was not cheap either. If it was a c/p much better. the 180 guess sounds good. I liked idea of 130X but heard way to many issues with tail. even with upgraded parts. At least they offer another c/p heli.

I cannot consider this as a true successor to the 130X. You are probably looking at a much larger heli with no compatible parts. I cannot see why the 130 and 180 can co-exist. It seems HH has discontinued a current good selling model with limited competition just because it was not profitable enough.

When I first got the 130x the tail vibrations were awful. I started hanging it by the skids, putting a drop or two of Liquid Bearings behind the B gear and turning the head until it worked its way through the tube to the tail. I have to clean the torque tube and tail boom from time to time, but that solved all my problems. It is almost all stock. I was flying under some trees and caught the tail on some leaves a few weeks ago and that broke the pitch slider. All the Microheli stuff was on clearance at the LHS, so I picked up a metal one. Same for the main shaft that was starting to have too much play and causing some vibrations when hovering. 2 years and 100+ flights and it still flies great.

I have to agree with you as mine goes really good!
I use a little oil in the torque tube and that took away all the tail vibrations on mine..
I have maybe 175+ flights on mine and still love the 130x!
only upgrades are the metal gears and metal tail slider thing

Welp, looks like I'm out if that's torque tube bevels. At least Align still has some belted birds.
