E-Challenged, (Arn't we all), Answers to your questions:
1) 12 cells -- either 2400 Nicads or 3000 NiMH's. If performance is not up to what you wan't you can go to 14 cells, just try and keep the amps draw within reasonable limits,(25-30amps) 2) I like the Master Airscrew Electric props(wood) in a 12 x 8 on the Astro 15G. The APC's(electric) I use in smaller sizes are very good as well. 3) The Astro 211 does not have bec, so you will have to use a flight pack to power your receiver and servos.
