Any ideas on how to not have this map screwed up beyond belief as people accidentally edit other peoples markers???

Would be nice to be able to "Lock" a marker you place.

For example I just noticed a guy named "Troy" Edited Jon Finch and his marker is no longer showing anything. but if you click on his name, it takes you to the right place.

I took the oppurtunity to label him with a boat anchor. Go ahead and get the cool DLG icon back if you can Finch.

I also made the map "Private" in that it will not show up in search results and you must have a link to see the map. This map help in that only people who see this thread or refer someone to it will be able to see the map.

You could have people send their info to you and you could restrict the permissions so that you are the only actual editor . . .but that would make for some extra work on your part,

I fixed mine... and umm, you probabaly need to fix yours since my retalitory reaction was probabaly unjustified

You still show as a blank spot, which is about right........

I could do it as I would imagine if people just PM'd me the city they are in it would be close enough. But for now, hopefully people will just be aware they can screw stuff up and wont do that.

just got mine up, i live a handful of blocks west of there. it was great cause i used to live in the house immediately to the east of that field, so i could jump up and fly anytime and if i forgot something it was a 30 second walk back home

Not throwing a DLG.... but this is me fixin' to fly a power plane. I'm strait behind my pickup at the starting table. You can just make out the wings hanging off the side and me in front. You'll have to zoom in a bit.
