That's really awesome! I have a new years day fly-in I go to every year, and this would be perfect for it! I couldn't figure out how to download the plans, tho... I'm not new at this "internet" thing, but could you maybe post a direct link to the download? I would very much like to build one!
Either way, that's a great website. There's at least a couple different flying things in there I'd love to build!

How to build it

It is a very quick build. You can finish it in an evening.
You need:
5 or 6mm Depron
Skewers for pushrods and control horns
4 x 1 or 5x1mm CF spar or 5x 2mm wood
4mm ply for the firewall
two 5 or 9g servos
15 - 20 g outrunner
2s or 3s lipo, 500 - 900 mAh

Build #2

It is definitely one of my favourite models and still in service after many flights. Very easy and smooth flying, even in heavy winds.

Finishing

C of G is 110 mm from firewall (not leading edge!), no up trim is needed. Elevator throw is + - 30mm, aileron 45 mm, measured at tip.
I use a turnigy 2211/2300 with 3s 800 mAh Lipo and a 4,75 x 4,75 prop.

What us your all up weight including your 3s 800 ?

My son and I cut bluecore wing and a $tree kfm step. 9g servo is what we have - have a 1300kv blue wonder - might be too low kv...

All up weight is around 220 g. Your motor will be fine with the right prop.

This will work fine for moderate speed with 3s and 7x 3,5 prop or a bit slower on 2s with 8 x 4. The white bird at the end of the second video in post #1 has a similar setup.
