f 14 oakdaleaircraft info

hey guys does anybody already get the chance to see this nice f 14 flying ?or maybe own one ?i 'don't see any info in here about it
i'm really interest in this one but the cost is high to get it here in europe
so i just want to be sure this is a good flyer at least

I have one that I crashed when a taileron failed. I think it is a nice flyer and hope to rebuild mine this summer. http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...al+f+14&page=2

just got a look at your old post
really sad for you man
what about the weight in order to fly in 6s?
does the wings load is ok for that set up?
and what about the retracts ?is it possible to get them in correctly?enough room?
i know this is a lot of question but at least , this one will cost me more than a thousand $ once finished

The weight on 2 6S 3700 packs was about 13 pounds. The model handled it fine. My main gear retracts installation was done differently than what the manual stated. I wanted them installed from the top of the model. I did not use rotating type mains so about a 1/3-1/2 of the wheel was exposed when the gear was retracted.

While this is a highly pre-fabricated kit, it is a what I'd consider for advance builders and flyers only.
