If it is a first FPV plane you can hardly do better than an Easy Star. Most of us enlarge the rudder quite a bit, and also put in a fairly hot brushless motor. A few have put ailerons on it.
I like my BWAV KX141 camera, but a lot of people like the slightly less expensive KX131 for a variety of reasons. I have been happy with fairly low power tx's in the plane and never had any problems, but I do have a 200 mW in my Easy Star.
I have never found goggles that I really like, so get the best you can find and hope for something better in the next year or two.
On a rudder/elevator plane like the Easy Star you can use the left stick for panning the camera. That is a lot simpler than head tracking.
I would not spend a lot of money on a first plane, but plan to learn FPV with the Easy Star and start thinking about a second plane after a few flights.
