You might need a 959Tx to get them to work right. It has more buttons on it.

The V949 board is not setup for the V959 accessories. You'd also need the V959 Tx. So, by the time you get all that converted over, you might as well just buy a V959.

I can always keep this one for me and get the kids the 959 later.

I have nearly a full 949 in spares (as I don't want a flip at 100% board) so was wondering if I could buy a 959 board and use it in a 949 to keep it flying the same as it is now - I have an "A" board that flips with the button

The 959 won't flip unless at 100% and the flip button is pressed.

Thats good to know - at least I can replace the board in my 949 with another that's the same as the one I already have.

I have not posted here in awhile. I am finally getting time to fly my 949 around. It doesn't like wind much but I didn't expect it to. I was caught off gaurd when I first went to 100% and flipped it not actually wanting to flip it but now I can't stop. I am like a flipping addict. I flip it so much I can flip it in my house from about 4 to 5 feet. lol

I am loving these little toy quads!!! Hmmm water gun quad and my wifes cat.

Just got a 949, I opened it, blinded it, and when I hit the throttle my left front blade sometimes doesn't work, it'll spin but it won't get enough lift. Why?

It must be level within a few seconds of plugging it in.

What do you mean when you say "I hope it flips?" I got a V949 from Banggood and it behaves just like a 929. The manufacturer states in order to flip it you have to push the top right button on the transmitter. Mine does not do this. It has the same bad characteristics as the 929. It will flip when you are not expecting it to just by pushing the right stick to the extremes. What is anyone else's take on this?

My mistake. I meant what did you mean that you "hope you get the auto flip button?"

This is normal on the newer boards. If you are lucky enough to get a revision A board, then it only flips with the right button.

I sure love the parallel charging now that I got my 6 battery cable. It doesn't take long at 1 C charge rate to have all 5 batteries charged. Sweet!!
