Ive neen trying to narrow down my heli collection for a while now but its hard for me to just sell off the ones i dont fly. At one point i had three 400's, two 450's, a 120, a 500, and a 600. Also two co-ax helis that i let my son fly. Im now down to two 400's, one 450, two 500's, two 600's (one still being parted together), the 120, and now three co-ax helis that my son flies. Oh yeah, and a plane. I actually saw the 450pro that i sold today, and was missing it in my collection. I wanna sell another 400, the 120, and a 500, but for some reason im not pushing the issue. All i need is one good 450, 500, and 600, and i would be fine. But the sentimental attachment i have with my birds wont let me get rid of any. They would have to go to a good home, with someone that would love to fly the $#!+ out of it, and not just crash it and leave it in a closet somewhere. Even if i sold those three, i would probably use the money to buy a 700 or 800 anyway.

Yes, thinking about it, I'm pretty messed up with priorities. And money. It did feel good to take apart the 2nd 500, and that was that. The 1st TT 500 has been working flawlessly. I haven't missed the second belt 500 at all. I'll pick apart two nice 450s for spare parts. I'll have one 450 and one 500 & both BeastX FWIW. Yay!

I was the same. I have about four 450se's in many pieces for my scale. I was keeping two 450pro's going, but decided to use one for parts. I only have two 500's because I put one in the airwolf or it would of been a waste and sold by now. It will be interesting what will change with my logo coming on line this spring.

Oh I completely forgot my two 250's sitting on my work bench lol! my two mulit's and a walkera mini CP

Only matters for FBL controllers, higher control bandwidth allows for higher gain settings without causing cyclic wobble. Even then a quality analog will allow higher gain than a poor quality low resolution digital.

In a flybar helicopter you won't notice any difference at all. In fact most RX's only put out a 22ms or 12ms control signal so holding power of the output shaft is the only difference and that's not likely to be noticeable in flight performance unless you're using very weak servos.

Forgot to mention that a 12ms control signal is only for digital servos. With analog servos you should use 22ms. If the RX doesn't have an option for this then it's putting out a 22ms signal.

Hey guys quick question i tore apart the hk 500 aloy tail to grease it, when i put it back together and tighten the feathering shaft screws the grips bind.I made sure everything is correct should i back off the screw a bit when it binds or is that not right.

Some back out the screw and use red locktite. I don't really like that solution, and just got the Align grips and hub.

Yes back off just a tad...Be sure and use loktite blue ( or clear nail polish ) on screw tips..Be sure ya dont get any into bearings,,Use a toothpick. Same goes for all the screws in your tail section. Want them all just tight enough, yet have a smooth action.

Red ??....Good chance he may strip his bolt-heads next time he needs to take em out. And + 1 for those align tail rotors..I have had those hk screws break twice in flight bringing the whole machine down in a dirty way..Those Hk tail rotor hubs and screws are a weak link in the kit..-Imo- of course. I think evltoy is the only one to date to get away with not having to buy this upgrade. ha

I dont...But me personally at only $13 i would go with eagle777 "Align" link. But yes, tarot would be a grade above hk in all areas of a kit/parts

I've just used the Tarot 450 grips and hub. The 500 slider is fine FWIW.

The thread fit on the my HK hubs seemed pretty loose, and I wouldn't trust blue to hold a screw in place. I think there was some discussion here like a year ago about that. I can't remember if it was the HK GT -> CMT metal tail upgrade? I think it was.
