Recommended eFlite retracts but with TAMS upgraded struts

Can't remember the exact settings, but you enter in percents required to get the amount of up or down you want per surface. I did not use any Y connectors so I could fully control each servo from the radio which of course required my 14 channel receiver

But it works very good, and landings are ridiculously slow and easy with my current crow settings.
So how much actual throw do you think you are using with crow ?
Not percentages ....

Tks

I tried 5mm and it was good but our patch is quite short so landed up going for 7mm to pull it up a bit quicker. It does tend to drop at the end though so if space is not an issue 5mm is quite comfortable.

Hope that helps.

You will need some down elevator with full flaps deployment.

Awesome! Sounds great and has lots of power. I've done 2 now. One on 8s with a HET 700-68-1680 and one on 10s with a HET 700-68-1500.

I already had the eflite recommended amount of down elevator with full flaps. I didnt change anything for adding crow. I could be wrong but the whole plane seems to float like crazy with full flaps and crow. Almost hard to get it down now!

Here's how I put crow in on the 12FG. I used dual AIL servos and a Y harnessed flap.

Go to MODEL menu

Then PROG. MIXES

These first 2 mixes are for the MID FLAP and FULL FLAP elevator down. The next two are the crow (1 mix for each AIL servo). SEE PICTURE

Then I show the 3 menus in each of the crow mixes. The OFFSET on the first menu is what adjusts your crow amount. Note that I have slowed the servo down to 20. This is to reduce the ballooning from applying instant flaps/crow (I also have the flaps slowed down).

Maidened my habu last night. Couldn't get off our grass field so went down the road to an asphalt field. Flew great and landed super easy.

Question is that it doesn't seem to have much a$$. Running stock setup with a 4 yr old flight power 25c 6s. That batt is old, but was never used. What's the hot 6s pack now? Or should I just jump up to 7 or 8 cell? Running the Phoenix ice 100.

Switzer there is an even easier way to acheive the flap to El mix and the crow setup on the 12FG. Happy to share both setups.
