I cannot bind my v929 to my v929 transmitter after a massive crash.
After a close inspection of the v929 board I found out that one of the resistors - transistors (sorry for my bad english), close to the antenna, has fall of the board.
In the picture above the part I am pointing with the red arrow is missing from my board.
After that no bind. The board red led keep flashing for ever.

Where can I find that transistor?

My friend works at local hobby shop and brought two V929 to fly in store. I use T9x. anyway quad was doing ok and cheap t-mart ni-cads in TX dumped and no signal. Quad kept flying across store till it hit wall. Picked it up and with motors spining at flight speed had to stall them to disc. battery. Anyway just flew that V929 and seems no problem. bird has alot of airtime and over two yeras old. I though might have messed up motors but looks good. Bad feature is no signal from TX bird keeps going. I can see this would lead to fly aways.

It's a capacitor. I'm unsure of the rating on it.

I couldnt find a photo that saws the capacitor rating either so I decided to buy a new v212 receiver board to revive the broken v929.
It fly as new after the board replacement.
A bit sluggish at low rates 20-40% but nearly as good as the original at 60-80%
I believe it is easier to handle now because of the 6axis gyro without loosing lot of the agility of the original...

I m using gws props as I was doing before with the v929 board and I just have to interchange the booms right - left to fly correctly.

My two first run production V929's keep going and going. Like two old friends now. I fly them full on 100% and both fly fine.

Here is mine in action after the board replacement.
WLtoys V929 Beetle Quad Copter with Camera (2 min 1 sec)

After 2 years is still able to carry the 808 #16 with no problem.
I bought it back then 32 euros, incredible value for money and still a very nice flyer.

Naked without canopy and with exposed carbon arms flies light, fights easily moderate wind and generally is way better than many new quads with that silly in my opinion DJI phantom wannabe plastic cells.

I have early version of V929. Both still flying very well. Recently bought V915 to fly scale type heli. Big plus is full sized TX and flys all my WL toys birds except V262. Its a shame V262 QC is far from up to par. Happy to say at least v915 is pretty decent heli for $$. Toy grade but a good toy.
Friend bought V931 and said its very toy like. Said under powered dispite having bl motor. Plus again a different protocol from his V922.

Try a 18pf capacitor:

I guess anything around 20pf would do.

Is it going away?
Can't get the motors for $2US anymore like I used to.

Maybe a v959 motor would fit.

Of course it costs more ($4 vs $2).

I think stonecutter is right. The V959 arms are longer. Its props are bigger. But the motors are the same as the V929/949.

The motors of my V959 is 8.5mm. If yours measures the same then you are in good shape.

Thank you!
V929 board is once again back in action.
With the flysky fs i6 it is so good!!!
I think I prefer it than the v212 - v222 fc board.
I m trying to find a way to avoid autofliping when i choose high rates.
I limited the pitch to 80 % and I set expo to +24% in the corresponding channel (1 and 2).
Is there another way to do it without limiting the pitch so much?
In original tx I have 4 modes 20-40-60 and 100.
To do flips I have to go to 100 mode.

Now I only have 2 modes and I set normal to 75-80 to avoid autofliping and sport 100% to be able to do flips.
Is there any way to add more modes.I dont want to do multiple v929 profiles in i6 menu.
