Airborn 1600 build Tip rough framing

Made a bit more progress on the 1600's
Got one set of the tips rough framed and the other 2 sets should be easy.
Nothing special on these, just have to take in account that I build the wing joint from the midsection to the tips different than in Jim O'Reilly plans.
Since I do not use plug in tips like are on the plans.

Now that is a real thought and blast from the past....................................
I wonder who owns the old clubhouse down in Blue Jay.
Wonder if John ever bought it.

Rainmaker wing board

I have 1/2 of one of his wing boards, along with 2 Rainmakers started as a set of 9 in the 67-68 time period, and 2 extra sets of foam wings, as well as templates for the foam wings. I plan to try and fly the Rainmaker in vintage in the Chicago area if I can get it approved.
