I will be visiting Seattle in about a week. Wondering if there are any slopes fairly close. I could pack a Weasel and a 3M EPP plane.

Not much. Hilly, and occasionally windy, but the hills are all full of trees or houses. Gasworks park has a small 'kite hill' south end of Lk. Union that works on a southerly blow of 15-25. Weasel works pretty good there. It's my go-to spot in the right conditions. PM me when you are in town for specifics if you think you can make it. NOT good on a nice day/weekend (too many people) or north wind (no lift).
Discovery Park on Magnolia is reputed to work, needs a S. wind also, and is an advanced site. If you lose your plane....it's probably gone. I have not tried it.
World class sites down at the Columbia Gorge or E. WA , all 3-5 hours from Seattle.

I've not found success at Harborview. Needs a direct N. wind. They are often skewed just enough to not work. N. winds here are fair weather and often not very strong. On the right day it could be quite nice I suspect. For me, just a bit too far to go on a chance.
Forgot about Whidbey. With the ferry cost+time barrier I'd just as soon go to Cle Elm from Seattle (2 hours+). Can be decent though I've not hit it myself, but then I haven't worked very hard for the above reason.
I'll have to take a motor supported plane to Discovery sometime to see how it works. That gaping chasm with the tall trees down below is flat intimidating. It takes a long time to get across town for me. No direct/easy way to get there from here.
Seattle has become the fastest growing large city in the nation. Traffic sucks. Significant difference in the last year. It puts a damper on spontaneous casual travel.
