 SPEF 7th Annual Electric Indoor Fly-In April 27 (afternoon) 28, and 29 2012, Plainview, Texas Hey, Everyone! I want to announce SPEF 7th Annual Electric Indoor Fly-In! The date for this event is Friday (afternoon), Saturday, and Sunday, April 28-29, 2012! The location, once again, is at the Ollie Liner Center in Plainview, Texas, 2000 S Columbia St (76 miles south of Amarillo on I-27, or 47 miles north of Lubbock on I-27). This facility is 302' long, 136" Wide, 15' at roof base, and 25' at the peak. So it's BIG! Google map to location: http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?msid=...07a17e1f7ee977 Flying will be from 2pm to 8pm on Friday with $10 landing fee, and then 8am to 10pm on Saturday and Sunday with $20.00 landing fee each day. AMA membership is required to fly. RV hook-ups are on site and will be available for the event. 20oz. weight limit and max 3 cell LiPo (or equal NiCad/NiMh) power pack. Aircraft that exceed this limit must be approved by the CD. Thanks for asking Chris. I understand that you have some exciting new plane kits! If any of you guys would like to donate to the club's raffle, it will be greatly appreciated. All proceeds go to the future adventure of flying in the OLC. There will also be a balloon pop! I better check my helium tank to see if there is still gas in it from last year.

Thanks, Bryan, of "No-Neck RC", for the Transmitter harness donation! I understand that this style of transmitter support is really receiving a lot of attention from the RC crowd.  We'll be there, had so much fun at the TINYLooking forward to another fly in Teresa learned a very valuable lesson from the TINY There will be cookies at the SPEF with pecans or without Wife said that there will be a nice birthday surprise to bring to the fly-in
