Cool
Good service from hobbyking? What is this sorcery?

I placed an order for a turnigy 9x on sunday (yesterday still for me) and until now it had been showing unpaid, although Paypal confirmed I had sent the funds, so I opened up the chat without much hope but within minutes I had the entire ordeal sorted out, it could just be fluke or this could be a new thing for hobbyking. If you get Cheryl, she's nice (if it's not an indian man masking the name cheryl )

Cheryl:
Thank you for contacting the HobbyKing Support Team. How may I help you?
You:
I made an order yesterday and it is still showing as unpaid, but I have an email confirmation from paypal that the money was sent
You:
What can I do to confirm that I made the payment?
Cheryl:
May I have your order number?
You:
Yes, the order ID is 2005357959
Cheryl:
The payment has been verified now. Thanks
Cheryl:
Your order is now in print queue and will be processed for shipping shortly.
Cheryl:
Please kindly check your account for updates later. Once we have dispatched your order we will send you a confirmation email with the tracking information. Thanks
You:
Thank you, I will check for printing tomorrow.
You:
It is now showing paid
You:
Thanks again
Cheryl:
You're welcome! Have a great day!

Orders showing unpaid when you HAVE payed do happen from time to time. Happens when there is a lot of transactions between paypal to HK in a short space of time ie, "200 orders in 5 seconds" or something like that, the system just can not handle it and some don't get confirmed. HK lately have been doing 5000+ orders a day.

And for your quick service from hobbyking, well it's NO fluke it's one of the easy things CS can do straight away, type in a few numbers and it's all fixed. Now if you have a lost package or broken item this will take a long long time, take photos/ videos, many emails/tickets/chat sessions and all that. Hk can be very slow but 99% of the time it will work out, just not as quick as some would like.

I have noticed a change in the last few months. Things that used to take an hour, take minutes and they seem to be quite a bit friendlier. I hope they keep this up someone said they hired 80 more people to get on the turnigy 9xr so hopefully they will put that out soon and discount the 9x even more than it already is!

I can say that I've ordered at least a dozen times and everytime I've had to contact customer support to get the unpaid status changed even though paypal is showing the payment credited to hexTronic Limited/ Hobby King. Every time.

Gotcha beat there with 18 under my belt
I've only had a payment problem once before, and it just didn't go through with paypal, so I just paid again and I was never billed for the first payment, so it must have just not gone through somehow.
