I think i out the specs on the description.

It's 4S 2640 Nano tech
900 KV NTM 815W
12x6 APC prop
60a HK Plush ESC
x4 HK 12g MG servos
Flat carbon in the elevator
1400g all in
Watt tested @ 798W & 52amps

The weather was quite bad when shooting the video, about a 15-20mph wing/gust. but it handled it ok Just couldn't show you my prop hanging which i'm slowly getting used too!

Looks like that flies very nice Mike! Would deffo consider it once i've finished with this one. I like the idea of the airfoil on the tail too! I take it it has the usual 4S setup? I'll keep an eye to see if/when it becomes available in the U.K.

Hi,

From the User Manual.

"The ideal C.G position is 99mm (3.91in) behind the leading edge, measured where the wing meets the fuselage"

Hope that helps.

Just got my Edge 540 - I have a few questions

I just got the EDGE 540 v3 (my elevators are connected. see Post 38 image 3 is the same as what I have)

I wanted to know what people have done to reinforce the elevator and vertical stab. I hear there are issues. Is it the control surfaces of the elevator? Does the vertical stab need support? I saw one modification (post 104) which looks like it supports the elevator.

I was thinking of adding a thin piece of Carbon to support the elevator control surface. and put Carbon tubes top and bottom to support the vertical stab and elevator.

Is there anything else I need to do?

My setup is (looking to do 3D)
4 - HobbyKing 929MG Metal Gear Servo 2.2kg/ 12.5g/ 0.10sec
Master Airscrew propeller 13x6
HobbyKing 60A ESC 4A UBEC
Turnigy Aerodrive SK3 - 3548-840kv Brushless Outrunner Motor
