AWDstylez, I have no idea, maybe best to ask on the 'official' Stryker thread. http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=561678

Neil, 1 of these is a good tool to have to check motor temps http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...0Celsius_.html . Maybe not as critical on a Stryker, but it helps to let you know how hot things are actually getting including batteries and esc's. Other types on eBay but that's the one I have.

AWDstylez,, iv heard alot of ppl using an APC 7x5e on 3s setup. I dont know myself as mine wasnt left on 3s for very long lol. Do not try this prop with the stock motor on 4s as I did and nearly set fire to everything haha

On my FJU I'm puling around 105-110a on a 6.5x5.5 on WOT vertical climbs, flat and level is under 100a. Motor is coming down at around 41-43c so it's not getting too hot. On a 6.5 x 6 it's closer to about 115a IIRC for the vert climbs, I'm about to try the 6.5 x 6 again so will have some figures soon

How are you planning to launch it?

Thanks peter. I just over head hand launch it. I use throttle hold, put in about 3/4 power then flick the switch right after I let go. Tried the "Frisbee" launch but did not go well once so never tried it again lol.

If you are still having heat issues, try using a heat sink. I found one here. Hope it helps!

Yea I have some of these for the new mega motor but these heatsinks wont work on the stock motor as it is an out runner.

Happy flying all.
