I don't really find it that difficult. But then I always paint my prop so I add weight, by way of clear coat, rather than having to remove any. Now the one's that don't get painted, then it's sand and check, sand and check, hate that way.

With one month short of two years to build, more hours than I can count, more dollars spent than I want to know, it is very gratifying to see such appreciation of the aircraft.

Anything that puts a 'gleam' in your eye, for a next build ?

I threw caution to the wind, and built a flying lawnmower for an upcoming Airshow fundraiser.. sometimes you just gotta step back..

You betcha, a 42% Pitts Bulldog. I already have the kit, but have to finish a Pitts I'm building for another fella. It will be like the pic.

Those flying lawnmowers look cool. I always wanted to do the flying witch but just haven't got around to it.

Robert, you are a glutton for punishment

Your Pitts turned out very nice and you learned a thing or two that will apply to you next build. That should ease the process a bit. The Bulldog is a nice looking plane and knowing you, will be as perfect as the prior build.

Ken

Thank you Ken, I do look forward to it. With the Eagle being so heavy I can't really thrash it around without concern over keeping the wings on. So the Bulldog will be built for pure performance to have fun with.
