Indoor combat.

I have a scheme of a small, cheap model aircraft for fighting in small halls to offer. The fact is that the weather in our latitudes is not favourable for flying model aircraft and we often have to fly them in a small school gym (it should be noted that our boys are especially fond of air aircraft fighting). Confronted with such limited spaces we had to find out a solution taking into consideration safety issues. So, keeping in mind that the model aircraft should be cheap and safe and have appropriate flying quality parameters, we have devised this scheme (the model is made from the Depron foam)

For the cheapest set-up:
Motor - https://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/...idproduct=6547
Speed Controller - https://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/...idproduct=4204
Batterie - https://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/...idproduct=6788
Propellers - https://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/...dproduct=27407
Servo - https://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/...?idproduct=662

A short instruction in Russian is available.

Thanks for clarification on the plans.
It clears up some questions I had.

I came up with the following last evening in CAD. ( see pic )

Just cut this out of 6mm for outdoor use.
Using the dimensions in the pic above got me to 760 mm ~30" span

Going to glue this afternoon.

I have seen references to combat planes. We used to the that with paper streamers on our control line planes. Cutting the others streamer with the prop. How does it work with the motor in the back/middle.

Our models have teeth at the ends of the wings and the keel to cut the paper streamer which are quite effective. The teeth are made of foam so they are safe in case the model hits somebody.

My Prototype is coming along well. see pic

It's all 3mm depron for this version.
I may add EPP parts as this evolves.

I may add Dog Teeth later.
I decided that would use a single Thin CF blade/strip as a spar due to the low weight of this model.

All I need complete is the battery hatch.

It might be able to fly tomorrow evening IF the winds stay low.

I decided to wrap the Depron Fore Fuse sides with 9mm EPP
and On the bottom too.
