Are you making any changes to the electronics?

Don't forget to give it a tetanus shot in case it lands in one of them New Jersey dumps. You don't want it to come down with something

what you see is what you get , same electronics salvaged from SS #1, just waiting for new motor and details will get to the other thread.
And yes video of the dump is coming LOL, locals are immune already LOL

no gyros .. just cut the wing tips and you will get a new plane... with speed and stability.
motor is just a normal rctimer 2200kv spinning a 6x5 , but the motor is not that good for this plane , as the speed is about the same on half throttle as on full .... before i had a 1350kv motor with 7x6 and the speed was about the same.. next im testing a 1600kv with 7x6 , think that will work good.

The stock motor is 1950kv. So you use a lower kv motor with a larger prop? Do you use a motor mount extension so the larger props will fit? How much of the wing do you cut? Just the curved part, right to the ailron? Or do you take some aileron off? Is this all summarized somewhere, like your blog? I followed the post suggested above but no cut-wing Bix's were discussed there.

with this motor im running now 2200kv and 6x5 i wouldnt need to use the motor mount extension , but with anything larger than 6" its necessary.
i cut the wing 1cm from the aileron.

Will bareback fpv the sucker tomorrow ... no osd.. just 500mw vtx , 600tvl cam + dragonlink

It's the Skylark OSD. I use mine with there tracker but can be used with out tracker. Plus I like switching back and fourth on the different screen displays.
