I agree with nut! The 18 will fly way better than the hawk, get that baby in the air!

Besides--you boys in South California don't have any dedicated build time. You have to go flying all the time... We have dedicated build time, when batteries would simply not be able to put out enough energy... And that's nothing compared to MN... I love where I live. Oh, and I'm making more money...

just trying to get in some flying and building....
looking for a good day to fly the F-18, I haven't flown the jets much as of late
more 3D, warbirds and park flyers due to time

I don't get to fly my big stuff as much as I'd like it's an hour drive each way to the large field so I really only go when the weather is really good. Sucks to drive that far and have it be windy

The F-18 will fly as soon as I feel it's a good day

I've been reading alot of good things about the Cortex and decided to see if they really do take the wind out of the equation like many are saying. Obviously there's a limit but one save makes it worth it to me and I'll bet you got lots of bucks, not to mention time tied up in that beautiful bird.

Thanks Joe.... I don't think the F-18 needs a gyro it will be rock soild

Man I see you scored that yellow starfire, Kevin is a friend of mine and flies at one of my clubs. Really good guy I bought a facet trainer jet from him years ago, so you are in good hands.... that plane was just a short drive from me I didn't know he even had it

hope it goes great for you!!

Thanks Ron. I'm very stoked, I've wanted one for a long time. As you probably remember I had the kit but sold it because there was no way I could glass the wings without risking ruining them and Rodger was too busy at the time to take them on. My son lives about 20 minutes away so he will pick it up this weekend.

CN I would love to see how you make your F-15 inlets. I have a similar job in my future. Thanks!
