Hi Keith,

I thank you for the offer of pictures. But the boat I am building is in Seattle and the owner has documented the boat with tons of pictures. That is the reason I am building the Seven Bells.

Hi Pat,

I have seen and saved all those pictures in a folder on my PC. There are lots of close ups.

I had time to cut out the rest of the frames today.

The rear frames have been cut out for the floor of the rear cockpit The rest for access. I drilled some holes for the two stuffing tubes a little over size and will adjust them one the hull is planked. I determined the position of the props by measuring the picture of the 1 to 1 hull and then calculating the percentage away from the keel. I then measured the width of the model and used the same percentage to position the props.

Greg,

Don't tell anybody my secret, I shove all the mess out of the way before I take a picture. Then I pile it back on the work area.

I have a little more progress to show.

I cut some square blocks and milled a 1/8 inch slot on two sides and installed double back tape on the bottom. The blocks will position and hold the frames on center and fore & aft. Using a metal square on the frames I glued the frames to the keel. Once that was completed I glued some tabs on the frames down to the building board, this gave it some more stability. I now have 2 stringers on the port side. Next I will start on the starboard. I am also using a piece of aluminum angel 1/2' X 3/4" to stabilize the keel.
