It is for a Slash 4x4 ultimate I have a bottle of Lucas 75w 90 oil in the garage but didn't want to do damage especially when nothing is wrong now. I was worried about it eating away at the o ring but wasn't sure. Thanks

Better safe than sorry indeed. If you need advice about what grade oil to use, might be smart to ask your question here: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...t=slash+thread

This is the main Slash thread, and may already contain the answer to your diff question. If not, you could ask there for more advice about this car.

Hi, thank you so much for that helpful thing.

i just have question, after i have ran my car off road i noticed the sound of the driven trail is changed and the manual movement of the car. I used to do forward and backward manually without any frictions (over flagstones), now it require more pressure. looks there is something stacked somewhere. have you faced the same ?

My car is electric brushless motor with ESC RTR. (Traxxas Slash Ultimate)

i didn't make any upgrades its just same as stocks.

Welcome. When you have a problem with the car suddenly not moving smooth, and having different sound from the moving parts, there are a few things to check. Maybe something, a small piece of stone, sand, etc, got stuck between the gears. Maybe a gear is damaged, or the motor has moved a little, and the pinion and spur are not meshing properly. If you want more troubleshooting tips, perhaps it's wise to start a new topic for this particular problem, with some pics and maybe a video showing what you described.

As per request in another thread, I added some more info about how to treat lipo batteries, and numbered the various questions
