Looking good cham I like the use of glass tape to cover the blades. As a matter of interest is the tri plate as per plan I ask as it looks to be on the stiff side ?

Tom.

Thanks Tom. The use of the bi-directional tape is an experiment for me. I'm not sure it'll hold up. One thing for sure, it's not at all easy to apply.
Yes the Tri-Plate is per plan 1/16" top, and 1/8" on the bottom. Although the bottom is one piece, not the doubled up 1/16" per plan. The blades are only attached to the top piece.

Advice: taxi around a lot and make sure your blades are getting up to speed. Don't rush your take off and trim the top of your blades to the left 2 degrees.

Thanks Jodini. I had a hunch about the rotor left tilt, (from the total of three flights I've accumulated on the Humpback I just finished putting together) but I wasn't sure how much was typical. Thank you for clarifying.

You'll be fine. The Humpback has a better head design with the delta head and the aerobalsas spin up faster....so this will feel like a different beast on the ground, but after you get it in the air, it's smooth sailing! Just spin those puppies up good and give the blades a chance to spin up. I normally never flew my DAG 60 unless I had about an 8-15mph wind.
