Rob,

The Powerlab series from FMA (Revolectrix) are second to none if you ask me. And you can get boards to charge up to 6 packs at once I think.

As far as power supplies go, you have a local supplier with quality stuff (Rick will let you know ).

Rob,

I just purchased this charger from RC Dude. It's made by Graupner! You might check it out and see if it might work for you!?

Hi Bob,

My respect for you for all your years in the hobby, if you purchased a Polaron that just confirms I made the right decision to purchase mine!

I sure do like my Polaron! I did a lot of research before I purchased mine not only on the Polaron itself, but also the Graupner Co.

This will be the last charger I will ever buy in my lifetime, and I sure feel I have made the right choice in the Polaron!

Rob, re your question about chargers...
Watts up. Really. Its all about watts. The PL8 puts out over 1600 watts and if you go with the dual PL8... *eek*
IMO go with 2 PL8 chargers, not the duo in case one breaks, with 24 or 36 volts feeding their bottomless voltage gut.
12 volts input will only output half of the watts/amps [~800] compared to 24 volts input.
You can check but I dont think there is much wattage gains with 36 volts compared to the 24 volts inputs.

Thanks Rick. Sounds like a plan.

Any recommendations for power supplies?

I may get/build one for my personal charger, but for company, they may want something off the shelve to look "professional".

RcAccessories.com should have one designed for such. If they are paying out the nose then buy the 32V if the chargers will take that for the inputs.

Rick
I just looked on RcAccessories and they had no power supplies showing

I was looking at the Revo USA store and you could get the Powerlab 8 charger and what looks to be a good 24v dc power supply all in one stop.

Any word on the new GT series chargers they have? Seems to be a simplified version of the PL's and a better price.
