just wondering what king of glue you guys used to glue the wings, ive used the glue that comes with the kit but i heard its not good enough, so i rip them off so i can slide a carbon fiber tube in the wings one to add some rigidity. There is too much video of this plane loosing a wing in mid air! please help me?
Thanks

i added a carbon fiber tube through the fuse that fit inside the one thats in the wings. Used epoxy to glue that in and then also epoxy on the surface areas where the wing connects to fuse. Can't remember if it was 15 or 30 min CA. If you check my blog page i have pics of how and what i did.

Epoxy doesn't eat foam. Have used it on all my planes. Always sand the paint where the two surfaces will meet, to ensure a secure bond to the foam.

Hope mine flys as good as yours or that I fly it as good as you did :-)

Nice job. Liked the way it landed. (Which is always the area that I worry about).

Don't worry..this plane is a dream to handle if you have some kind of jet experience.. mine is getting close to 200 flights....It is the most relax jet in my fleet... it's like a glider when comparing to other jets that I have.. . This jet is very easy to land. Just watch the video to see how I carry the jet in the nose attitude and power setting..then u can adjust it to your field runway length.

Pilots ..

Does anyone carry the Exceed F18 anymore? It is a great flyer and easy to hand launch and land on grass. I lost mine some time ago to a faulty ESC and would really like to find another one...or are spare parts available i.e. the fuselage

Thanks
Reno
