Multiplex Easy Glider Electric (Scorpion outrunner powered) - Receiver Ready - $110

This listing is for Multiplex Easy Glider Electric that I converted a brushless outrunner. This model is one of personal favorites, and almost always went to the field with me. I'm getting out the hobby though, and would like to recover the closet space and some cash for it.

The put a lot of time into the construction of this model. The battery bay was enlarged so that it will accept a 3S 2200 mah lipo. I also modified the nose so that it would accept a brushless outrunner instead of a brushed motor with a gearbox.

The motor is a Scorpion 2215 that I custom wound myself. It weighs a little more than 2 ounces, but it has more than enough authority to haul the plane up to thermalling altitude. It won't go vertical with a 3S 1300 mah pack inside, but it'll ascent at a respectable rate. And it does it silently too!

The spinner is an MPJet spinner. Spare parts will be included for the spinner. The blades are Aeronaut Carbon 10x6s. Also included is a "turbo" style spinner from Hobby King.

The Multiplex instruction manual will be included.

The ESC is a Turnigy Plush 40 amp unit with a built in Switching BEC.

The servos are Blue Bird 380s for elevator and rudder, and the wings are Blue Bird 371s.

My price is $110 shipped to anywhere West of the Mississippi and $105 for anywhere east of the Mississippi.

NOTE: Shipping will require the removal of the tail feathers. I'll be as neat as I can, but you will have to reattach the horizontal and vertical tail feathers to the model and to each other.

I accept PayPal and USPS Money Orders, but I do NOT accept personal checks.

Thanks for looking.

Shawn, I have modified 7 of these EZG E's and always had to add tail weight.

Curious how much you added when you built the fuse if you recall. I don't see any added to it.

they are great flying planes that's for sure and nice job fitting the motor without cutting back the nose.

Mike,

Good point! I made a slit at the bottom of the rudder and put a coin in there. Can't remember which coin, but I think it was a penny. I also place the battery (3S 1300 mah - though a 3S 2200 would fit in the cavity, I don't need the extra weight) as far back in the fuse as is practical. That helps a lot.

You're definitely right about the Easy Glider being a good flying machine. It's the perfect stable mate the Parkzone Radian. I usually took both to the field with me when I went flying. The Radian thermals better in really light air, but the Easy Glider is preferable when there's a breeze out.

Thanks!
Shawn

Just sent a pm to pay!

MIke R

P.S
I think if you slice it off at the glue line and cut the lower rudder hinge that would work fine.
I can replace the hinge and then reattache the tail feathers.
