1513/2Y F3A Motor Cogging
I have had three of these motors through my hands and discussions with several other flyers re this. Why do some cog strongly when rotated and some of exactly the same model don't?
Also is this a performance indicator?

Cogging or lack of cogging has little to do with motor performance and more to do with small differences in magnet strength and clearances internally in the motor.
I would only be concerned if there was some change in the cogging which might indicate that the motor was overheated resulting in damage to the magnets.
