Yeah, I have wanted one for a long time too. I saw one today at my LHS. If i hadn't gotten $179.00 in tickets from the State Patrol it would have went home with me. I'll have to wait a couple of weeks now.

Mine's in the mail, should be here on Tuesday. As far as motor selection is concerned - it really does matter what you are looking to get out of it - a somewhat docile flyer or a pants-ripping racer. Cell count is important here.
I'm thinking of going whole-hawg and running 6S by ganging a couple of my 3S5000mAh packs. I am pondering going el-cheapo and getting my motor from HC. - I'm thinking the AerodriveXP SK50-55 @ 580Kv will give me 1500 watts to play with if I wanna run a higher pitch, like a 12x8 or so.
Then again I am tempted to go with the Scorpion option. This is probably a sound choice for a high-speed and capable racing model. Scorpion S-4020-10 I need to email Lucien and see if he has any updated Prop data for these newer motors.
I dunno, I am still researching with MotoCalc and looking around for folks who might have experience with this size racing model.
I plan to do a build thread over at WattFlyer if I can eek out the time.

A 4020-12 will give you 1300 watts and right at 9,500 RPM on good 6S lipos (that will hold 3.7V/cell at a 60 amp load). That is with a 13x8 APC-E prop.
A Torque 4014-570 will give you right at 1400 watts @ 9,900.

I received mine last week. What beautiful model!!!! The fiberglass and paint work is very high quality, prepainted and installed pilot in the prepainted and install canopy.
I was going to put a .61 two stroke in it and changed my mind to go electric using the RimFire .46 outrunner motor. I saw video of a guy flying this on electric power and it was plenty fast.
