FMA Cellpro 4S Multi

Hey guys I have a Powerlab 8 coming in Monday for my primary charger but want something smaller for the field to be powered from a 12v 7A battery & was thinking of this one. Will it be fine for my purposes or do you have any other suggestions.

I'll probably be charging or topping off 3S LiPo's.

As long as you don't need more than 50 watts it should be fine. CP4S multi charges at up to 4 amps through the balance leads only. I have a PL 8 and I love it, but I know many people who have the 4S multi and is seems like a great little charger.

Very good choice. I have that setup and it works very well. I use the Multi 4 to charge my single cell batteries and also for Rx packs. Keeps the PL8 available for my bigger batteries.

I use my Multi4 at the field when I don't need the power of my PL8.

What about charging thru regular charge leads instead of the balancing plug. If it won't do this can you recommend one that does for charging in the field.
