I haven't been able to fly my HCP100S yet (too damn cold outside, -17[c] right now), but I'm planning to plug in my battery alarm/beeper when I start flying.... I'd expect the heli could handle the extra few grams without too much issue.

How to strap it on may be another question of course

Try re-seating the tail motor connector at the main board. I was puzzled by uncontrolled blowouts after installing a new motor and this seemed to fix it.

Can you down size a V922 to fly like a Nano?

The HCP80 doesn't fly like the nCPx, at least not the V1 I have. It's not even close. If you want something that flies like an nCPX but don't want to spend $120 for a new one, look in the Classifieds. You can usually pic one up for much less than new.

I found this thread had descended to P5 and over 2 weeks. What gives? I'm still very happy with my 2 standard V922's, am I an obsolete ol' fogey now?
