Any of you guys get married on a beach?

Yeh, silly.. but..

The other half wants to be married on the beach.. which is fine with me, but I think we should wear some nice khaki pants with them rolled up, no shoe's and a nice dress shirt (me and the groomsboys) and she thinks we should be wearing tuxedo's with no shoe's..

Whaddya guys think?

Tux or Khaki Casual..

I vote for Khaki's.
Tux clashes with sand.

Go my route - jeans and a golf shirt, Vegas, Harley, Drive thru wedding window.

Very low stress wedding!!

6 years later, 2 kids and still together!

When my best friend got married, it wasn't on a beach.. But the groom was from Hawaii and same with his best man... I got stuck in a formal dress along with her.. .But her groom wore Khaki pants, a Bright Hawaiian shirt and a nice jacket over that. His best man wore Khaki shorts, a hawaiian shirt and Berkenstocks (Sp?)

Rather interesting.

MPJ... Your right low stress.. Mine was none of that. Let's put it this way, I had the stomach flu at mine and a variety of things happened.. enough that my dad wrote a poem.. LOL! At least I got through the vows and the cake cutting before having to leave. LOL!

Now 9 years later my mom says she didn't understand why we didn't just go to Vegas.. "WHAT!?!?!??! You all wanted a traditional wedding!" Parents.. sheesh

We were planning a wedding.

It seemed to be a conflict between families - her mom and my sister (only immediate left).

Everyone was telling us who, what, when, where.......on and on.

I had to go to Vegas on business and company said to take girlfriend and make a mini-vacation out of it.
Well, when in Rome..........

The funny thing was that niether of our families believed us when we returned. They kept planning. They did give in after a bit.

My bestfriend and her hubby rode off on a Softtail. Very fun.. Though watching her bundle the skirt in her lap made me laugh. Romantic though..

My son got married in Hawaii last fall. He wore black pants, with sandals, and a white tropical shirt. The bride wore a long white dress, not a wedding dress with a train, but just a long white dress. The parents were dressed tropical, the mothers had long Hawaiian dresses and the fathers had white pants, sandals, and Hawaiian shirts. They were married right at sunset. Made for a very pretty wedding.

My wife and I got married on the edge of a lake in Jasper,B.C. We were joining a caving expedition in the mtns west of Jasper. We found a justice of the peace, a little Jewish man bearing deathcamp ID numbers on his arm. He almost seemed reluctant to marry such a pretty lass to such a fellow as myself. The scenery was unbelievable! I ended up wearing a set of ice caving boots. At least I wasn't going to lose my footing! Oh, two kids and 9 yrs later so far so good! I'm a lucky man!
