Peter Rake Micro Designs

Okay, before we go any further, this wasn't my idea. To be honest, when I first saw it suggested it took a while to convince myself the OP wasn't extracting the urine. Afterall, what the heck do I know about micro models? Apart from having built and crashed a few.
Anyway, I decided to play along, so here goes. Probably the best way to do it is to lay claim to a few posts at the start of the thread so that I can post them in groups defined by type - built up full fus, NoCal, etc. Then if you're trying to find something specific you'll have an idea where to look.

Some will be fully proven designs, but others are likely to be finished drawings of models yet to be built. I no longer have photos of them all but will post the drawings as pdf files and similar files for where printed tissue files exist. Whatever, eventually you'll end up with pretty much what I currently have on my computer.

Pete

Stick Fuselage

I've posted a couple of 'action shots' of my new model Slowcoach and my latest Boxkite.
Okay, so both are a little heavier than they could be with Slowcoach at 7.9 grams and Boxkite at 9.3 grams but overall I'm happy enough with how they've turned out using Nano Stik equipment.

Slowcoach plan is also posted.

NoCal = no calories = profile fuselage + thin surfaces. usually single side covered if made of balsa sticks...

Hi Peter,

That is a pretty large collection. Thanks for designing them and thanks for posting them as well

George

Thanks Pete. I knew you had lots of micro designs but there are many here that I didn't know of. Great to have them all in one thread. I still have one that I laser cut - the Eastbourne I think. I started to build it but put it away in a box before one of my many country moves. I still dream of starting up kit production but there are lots of obstacles in the way.

I can attest that Peter's the full-fuse Sperry monoplane is a fantastic flier.

Mine came in beautifully and super light (can't remember the details but it's here on RCG somewhere). So much so that the 8.5mm "p51" brushed motor is overkill for it.

One of my favorites.

Edit

HERE it is
