Has any of you out there seen or have pictures of the first pre-SuperTigre engine produced ~1937 by Garofoli, the OSAM G-1, apparently it was a 3.5cc spark ignition engine. The war went pretty hard on Italy so I'm wondering if any survived?

Look what I found... this OS Max 10-FP car engine ser.nr.021 and since I am already up to ser.number 031 of my RLE customs it means I had put it aside a few years ago. The reason is that I was not really happy with my casting result with some tiny pitting in the bronze but this week I did finish it anyway, that is, in between watching the Tour de France on daily basis...

Picked up this super clean O&R .60 Special cheap on fleabay. Appears to have never been mounted and possibly never ran ran before I bought it. It runs like a champ for a small port O&R. It's the replacement for the one that cracked the crankcase earlier this year. First flight will be today so we'll see how she pulls the Rambler.

Hi All!!
I got this Howler .604 yesterday, it is a very well made engine. I know about two models, the first whitout air intake and another (later?) with a small intake, but in my engine it seems plugged by a pin, I think removable. I have not manual or analysis from antique magazines, I have only analysis by Charlie Bruce. Have you further information about Howler? I would be grateful. Thank you, ciaoooo
Ernesto
