I had a couple kids buzzing me in their car last night while I was flying. But stand behind the my car where I fly and cars driving by don't bother me. It's a massive unused lot with a service road that some people use for "shortcuts" or dumping or burnouts or practice driving or flying.. I always keep an eye for cars when I approach the street.....But when I landed, they left...

That's funny you said that..I'm starting a concealed firearm course next week. I'm not a gun nut but.... I have a nice Sig Sauer stainless 380 auto I carry everywhere. I also keep a Browning 9mm 18 shot auto on my nightstand, with a police issue 10 gauge pump shorty next to the front door. Dave/zeezee

A car driving by threw stuff at me while flying during the night???
Are you sure it was the car and not some idiot inside it?

Don't stoop to their level.

Best approach! Proverbs 15:1 them!

this is why they should allow for fire arms to be mounted on our RC planes

Dude, I can't believe it! The backround in that pic looks EXACTLY like my flying field here in Massachusetts! Where do you fly, I might know you!

The AMA can't say boo about what we put on planes unless we fly at their fields and/or use their insurance. If the former was the case here, we wouldn't need to worry about people throwing things from cars in the first place.

Seems like too many people think of the AMA as the universal RC police.

That said, I'm sure something or someone with actual power opposes the armed-planes concept

They were just jealous of a man out standing in his field, it happens all the time.

Add a new level to the scale of a spitty. Maybe a couple of cut down .22's in the wing? Just ideas.

Probably the same winners that knocked over almost every mailbox on our road. I think it was even the same night! Was it a full moon that night? I doubt its the same folks as I am over an hour East of Dayton.
