Here's the very latest from Robert Pike:
The Ontario Electric Flight Expo is only a couple of days away! I hope you're planning to attend. This has turned into an event that you do not want to miss. This two day event will include: A fantastic flying site with a paved runway. Lots of time for casual flying with a relaxed atmosphere. Pilots and spectators traveling from miles around. Noon flying demo on Saturday (including Keith Shaw and several spectacular local talents) Police radar available to check the speed of your plane (this will be fun) Awards presentations High quality prize draw for registered pilots "Baron of Beef" catered dinner on Saturday evening (only $10) Several fun and entertaining contests on Sunday (field still open to general flying) Barbequed lunch both days Full size aircraft on display No charge for spectators The weather looks great and there's lots of room for camping. Or, there may still be room at nearby hotels. Come on out, bring your planes, and have a great time.
