Another 450 newb build

Alright, I just ordered a 450 clone frame and four SunnySky X2212 KV980 II Brushless Motor's. I'm now wondering if these will be underpowered for my needs.

I'll be carrying a gopro and 2/3-axis gimbal. Bad call? I literally ordered about 15 minutes ago, so changing the order shouldn't be a problem.

I'm ordering through buddyrc.com, if you think those motors are a bad choice, what sunnysky motors do you suggest in the $20-$25 range.

If you think those motors are fine, any suggestions on props I can order on my next payday with the afro ESC's?

Thanks y'all, loving this place!

My setup will be very similar. What battery are you going with, and whats your projected flight time?

Good choice I've been using the SS 980kv on different tricopters with great succes. Put on 9" props and use them on 4S and you got yourself a very powerfull quad
I use the SS 980kv on a light acro-tri and it's a rocket

Here's a video where I use the motors with 10" props:

I suggest you get the 2216 800kv motor, as you will install gimbal on your quad. This will give you more headroom for additional component later on.
