Best portable Quad to fit a 808 camera?

Hi guys, newb here...
Need some buying advice, I am looking to get a new quad to carry in a backpack around to fit a 808 v2 camera with a d lens, so far i have tried the wltoys v959 , v222. Both have enough power but too big for a backpack, the handling in the v222 was pretty acceptable. Gave the hubsan x4 h107l a shot, with the camera stripped from the case and battery removed, but flight time was too short, and tends to move a lot with wind from side to side because of its size.

So something with the power and handling of the v222 but in a smaller package? any advice will be appreciated. thanks!

Not easy to find, but use some 8mm motors and the H107C board.

Best option is getting a RC Eye Xtreme, yes its bigger, but you can use a Mobius 1080p without any problem.

How about the Eye One S? That's got plenty of grunt for its small size. I haven't read of anybody putting an 808 on it though. Rc logger do offer their own cam package so you could always try that. I have no idea how well it performs though!

My WLToys V222 carried the stripped down 808 #16 D lens with ease for 9 minutes with a turnigy nano 600 and no landing gear or canopy.

There's quite a few aftermarket hop-ups as well, inc. full fpv and foldable (to whet your appetite):

I have the Eye one xtreme and am considering moving the equipment to their CF frame with foldable arms. This will certainly carry my 808 and mini FPV gear. With the arms folded, should provide a nice small package for the back pack

The best seems to be the FPV Venom from Ramsey Innovations.

The RTF is $504, the BNF is $329, and the frame by itself is $90.

Nice, but very expensive for a 1s brushed quad... You can get 3x Eye Xtreme ARF for the same price.

I don't think it's capable of FPV yet but for just carrying the 808 the flying eye Benedikt developed seems to produce some great video.

Walkera Ladybird

I have good luck attaching my 808 to the bottom of my Walkera Ladybird just using a rubber band. The Ladybird has plenty of power to carry the camera and the rubber band mounting does very well without producing the jello effect.

The Eye one Xtreme also has a folding frame available. Supposedly he will have an RTF version with this frame as well.
