I've had some smaller Fatties plotted for a while, we cut out two sets of the 17-18" Wildcat so we could combine them to make one full wing planform. My buddy cut out a Dollar Tree Wildcat over the weekend, fast assembled with hot glue.

Will be violently overpowered I think, since it has a 1700kv BW motor on it for a 3s500 pushing a 7035 prop. That will theoretically kick out like 15oz thrust, and I think the plane weighs roughly 8 oz as it is. Might be a little quick for indoors.

Will get some pics, right now it's awaiting Rx and decoration. Either Minwax to protect the paper or packing tape, right now with snow on ground we can't fly it outside without mass peeling.

CG figure we'll guess, call it 25% chord.

Figured cut and assembled in ~5 hrs. Trying to shake loose some ideas for color, but not having much luck.

P-38 is next in line you know.

Fattys

Good to hear the Fattys have some following still. I have had a rough winter, am recovering from surgery so it not much building. I have a Dart I am working on now. She flys slow and stable.
Look forward to see the pic and here how they fly for you . I have had great performance from them all.

Will have to do some tinkering to be able to print to targeted wingspans I guess. Originally there were attachments of PDFs of various sizes for several birds. Will have to figure out which graphics prog will allow me to scale to where I want and either plot full size or tile to whichever paper size is convenient.

Will also probably do some tinkering to make those nice color canopies stand on their own sheets so I can color print them without having to print the whole set on the color printer.
