THIS one looks like a must for me for sure! Gotta love the General Aviation stuff, especially when they include optional retracts and that sweet V-tail option.
(Hey, how ya' doin' Wendell!?)

Correct, the V-tail is a separately available option:

We couldn't afford to get both tail options into the box and still hit a reasonable price point. So we picked the one that provides the better flight characteristics and made the other one available for those who prefer it.

The only aspect of this design that makes it unique from so many other private aircraft is the V-Tail. I'm usually pretty understanding about the compromises that must be made by manufacturers but having to pay more for the variant that most people want in the first place just doesn't make sense to me.

I LIKE it! Choices are great!

Dave, I don't see the optional retracts listed yet? I assume they are mechanical? Or will they be some sweet pneumatics?

Nope. Neither. Read the item name or description carefully.

Nice work Horizon. Saw this today on the computer screen while I was at the LHS picking up my E-Flite P-40 Pre-ordered.
