Found fpv plane in san clemente!!!!!

Last night, while surfing in San Clemente, a buddy of mine witnessed a plane go down in the water. He recovered it and waited around for the owner to claim the bird to no avail. If you lost the plane and can positively ID it, it's yours.

Is it really a FPV plane? As in, it has a video transmitter and video camera? I'm curious, because it seems possible that it may have been just a regular RC plane. It actually seems more likely its just a regular RC plane because there really are very few FPV'ers around, in comparasin to LOS'ers.

Yes, but there's likely a higher number of FPVers who like to fly out over the ocean
and watch the surf/surfers.

It's fpv. Stabilized camera mount, video tx, and some other "goodies."

Problem with that is that they might not be able to positively identify it as theirs once you've posted a picture of it.

Anyway, that's why you put contact info on the plane.

rcall put a video in there as well called "IFFOUND.MP4" - I have one with my contact info and it plays the Pink Flooyd MONEY song

OP - Thank you for being honest, last thing I want to see is another V12Driver type person selling gear after not making an attempt - you are making a very honorable request and I hope they offer a reward ...

Thanks for being honest, too few honest people in the world today, I hold my honor dear.

It maybe this guy..

There is a FPV'er who flys San Clemente and his user name is ecworks
He is a Ranglink user and hangs out in the Rangelink forum.. It could be him who lost the plane.. If not,.. he probably knows the FPV flyers who fly in San Clemente who may have lost their plane..

His post in the Raptor thread yesterday:

Still trying to figure what, or what combination of things, went wrong. Had a great low power rangetest before the flight.
Frosting on the cake: GoPro was on board.

Great way to start the weekend.
