Dang, TC is good, should have sent him the unit for free, too bad he paid for it.. LOL.
Can I take it that this FY-Tech cable is the same thing and will work? http://gothelirc.com/images/gyros/FY...able_Large.jpg Rtryer: I will ask them about changing the parameter in flight... "wouldn't think so, haven't tried it either". BUT HEY, looked, the LED on the YS is half the size of the WKM.... haha! |

FrSky cable has RS232 chip on it besides USB>TTL serial. I'm pretty sure FY cable is just USB>ttl serial without level conversion. FrSky stuff is basically the insides of your USB>DB9 converter without the DB9 plug and in a easy-to-take-apart servo style socket. Anyone who stocks FrSky stuff should have it, might even find some u.s. shops.
OK, that was funny: https://www.google.com/search?hl=en&...rSKY+USB+CABLE |

OK, so the -12.7 value stuck when I tried it so that was my problem, trying to enter a vaule beyond what it could take. I also redid the compass calibration, as I suspected I messed up on the vertical alignment trying to do it like an MK which is NOT the way it should be done...
![]() Changed settings a little bit more, another test flight and much better yet again, its getting there slowly. What does impress me the most is how smooth it is in gusty wind, just for comparison I took my MK hexa V1 out for a test flight a couple minutes ago and from that flight it appears that I have YS dialed in for smoother flight in these condtions, it is much steadier than the MK when the gusts hit. Only thing not as good at the moment is the postion hold, it starts to toilet bowl within a few seconds of flipping the switch, maybe has to do with the declination not being set correctly for my location??? It does seem better with the -12.7 than it did with a positive number but still not capable of holding a position as-is. It does lock onto satellites quickly and easily though, I can get 8 sats in far less time than it takes the WKM to get to 6. More batteries charging... |

Don't know what the vibration reading is, too windy to let go of the sticks to look at the phone while ithe quad is in the air and no one around to do it for me right now. Maybe you can ask the engineers what to do about it? First I'd like to be able to properly set the declination to see if tht has any effect on things, I'll be waiting for the firmware update
