I'm sorry just want to know type of camera I can attach to my glider.
I've seen the GoPro's but I'm looking for something like a keychain type or similar.
Now everybody play nice >

Wagonmaster I like your style.

This one is inexpensive via eBay, makes a decent picture, and is well-regarded:

I have one and tried it in a few applications. Here's some onboard footage from the tail of my ultralight Le Fish, so you can judge the image quality and color. Make sure to watch in HD

Ellwood Mesa Onboard Cam (3 min 10 sec)

I'm sure there is a newer, better and cheaper version, that website I linked to by Chuck Lohr is a good place to start.

What Steve said.
I've been using the FOB 808s for onboard footage. I think my last one was a #11.....and thumbs up on Chuck Lohr.....He D'man!
I am going to get a GoPro 3 before long to replace my tired Sony Camcorder for ground shots.
Not sure I can use the GoPro onboard as my models are not big enough.
Although I predict a few posts down we'll see somebody with a GoPro on a chuck glider to prove me wrong!

GoPro HD Hero2 for comparison, strapped on the front of my Radian and being used as a FPV camera as well as inflight recorder:

Steve
most onboard films attract a lot of stick from folks, quite rightly so usually, but with a smooth chase plane host shown in slo-mo & high frame rate as ^ makes a nice change. good work fella.

Edit - that aint slo-mo is it, just super smooth!! Just spotted the people below walking speed on 2nd watch

That wasn't slow motion, that's a Radian!

Filmed at 1080 resolution, 30 FPS

Since you said on it, theres two popular options, 808#16 and go pro. Since your go pro is too heavy, then 808#16 is good.
This was taken with one on board, in cloudy UK light. They improve if you are from sunny climes and fly in good light.

Alpina Aerobatics (4 min 44 sec)

A couple of notes on the 808 #16 (there is a whole thread for them at http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1777846 ):
There are 3 lens options (A, B, D) with different field of view angles.
I like the B (78*) version best since I don't like the fisheye in the D (120*) lens.
The lens' are interchangeable, but do some research and get what you like the first time.
Second, there seem to be a bunch of people selling them and I've heard that some sell other versions (#11, #18, #20...) that have different features. It's pretty hard to tell them apart so be careful. I've bought a couple from http://www.ebay.com/itm/16-V2-Lens-A...item4abfa48264 and have been happy with the camera and the service (had an order problem on one order that was promptly dealt with). No affiliation with the above ebay seller, just a happy customer.
